 For anyone in the MUD community that's spent any time at all at Mudmagic, you probably consider it to be a fine resource and ripe with code, forums and generally a lot of useful information.
What you probably don't appreciate is the fact that it is run by an administrator (Kyndig) who is absolutely out of his fucking mind. Curious? Read on:
The number banned at this point is staggering and by all indications it will continue to climb in the coming days. Anyone who has said anything against Kyndig on his or any other website appears to be fair game for banning on his site. His excuse for this?
"I have my reasons for preventing these people from posting content on the site. I feel it makes the site more stable and interactive without their content on here."
When asked to elaborate, he pisses and moans about how he has it so rough and life is so hard for him dealing with arguments about IMC and bickering between his users with admin accounts. Eventually he even threatens his userbase directly:
"Someone said an admin should be neutral - well, you don't pay me enough to be neutral; last I looked, you posted here for free. If you prefer though - I can lock this site down to hosted clients only, which would indeed remedy situations such as this."
I guess Kyndig has forgotten that 99.9% of the content housed in the repository is the product of other people's effort and not his own. I guess his attitude is that doing the work of a librarian warrants higher pay because of the good books he has lying around. Please, Kyndig, get the fuck over yourself and your website. Niether one is that great.
If anything, mudmagic is going to see a big decline after all this shit that Kyndig has thrown about. Mudmagic was already a haven for wanna-be admins throwing up DBZ mud after DBZ mud. Hell, if you check the URL I have below, you can even see some of these DBZ assholes (Ozma, in particular) posting and practically kissing Kyndig's ass.
Hey Ozma, if you ever manage to take Kyndig's cock out of your mouth, be sure to tell him that I said to go fuck himself, and that you can do the same.

Fuck you for stabbing Samson in the back, for banning Zeno and Xorith, for removing their contributions/MUDs/et al. from your site without reason or warning, and hell, fuck you for banning Tyche too. He may be an ass, but he was still a contributor. You, on the other hand, are simply an arrogant prick hording over a knowledgebase built on the backs of others, as if you were anything other than the pathetic, anal-retentive sack of shit that you are. You run a fucking website, asshole, just like untold millions of other people out there. Big fucking deal. What exactly do you want from the community, a medal or something? Should we all take turns with Ozma, line up and start sucking your dick and kissing your ass? Dream on you piece of shit.
In closing, let me just say that I sincerely hope banning people at random and flaunting your authority makes you feel important, and I hope that it was worth destroying the community's trust in you forever.
