Why isn't it right to smoke it? Is it right to smoke tobacco? Is it right to consume alcohol? Is it right to destroy the ozone with our industrial byproducts and burned oil and/or gasoline? The only reason why marijuana isn't right is because the Law makes it so. Now that's being changed. The state of Alaska lets everyone grow a plant for personal use. The state of California has already legalized it for medicinal purposes, and other sites are getting in line. Even Mexico is wising up to some degree.

I've known doctors, lawyers, psychologists, and teachers who smoke and support weed. Cops, politicans and video store clerks. We're everywhere and we could be anybody. It's only a matter of time...

You don't want to smoke weed, then don't!  But neither you, nor the government have no right to tell somebody else, what they have to do with their own body.  Drug prohibition goes against the privacy clause in the 14th amendment, all of our nations drug prohibition law s unconstitutional and therefore making marijuana (and every other personal recreational drug) legal in the entire U.S. regardless of weather congress and/or states have passed laws on the books to contradict this.   I don't exactly think that everybody should be doing hard drugs, but EVERYBODY should be doing marijuana, and it's legal weather the cops say it is or not.

You have no idea what you are talking about. There is no privacy clause in the 14th Amendment. It includes the citizenship clause, due process clause, and the equal protection clause. Smoking weed makes you MORE of a person? How is that so? If you can't function with nothing at all in your system, that's ABNORMAL. Ever been short on gas money? Tried using water instead of gas for your car? Doesn't work too well, does it?
Point is, most users say it's a great thing. Okay, so maybe you fell more "relaxed" and THINK you can function better. That's bullshit! NO ONE functions better when their mind is altered. I used to smoke it a lot and came to the conclusion that it's a waste of time.
As far as not hurting anyone while high, have you ever seen the OTHER side of pot? The dealing and packing? People get killed wholesale for it and because of it. I deal with potheads, drunks, meth-heads, heroin addicts, coke adicts and much more almost on a daily basis. Potheads cause their fair share of damage, too. People DO get sick from pot, and I've seen it firsthand. Although it's not the norm, some people are allergic to it and have died from the reactions. Only problem is no one wants to admit it.
So, next time you start to say pot is harmless, check out the latest findings by the same medical groups who used to claim pot was beneficial. Pot is NOT harmless. Smoked pot has no medicinal value at all. It contains over 130 carcinogens in it. Not as much as tobacco, but if pot were grown on the scale tobacco is, you can bet it'd be saturated with toxins. I mean, after all, bugs and diseases would claim way too much, so something would have to be applied to keep them at bay. Hydroponics? Pffffft! Way too expensive and isn't cost-effective. Kinda like using an oxcetelyne torch to light up-not real smart.

true. also, theres the fact that there are many people that die via the pot trade, completely innocent people in poor countries with families, that are pretty much forced into this trade. in third world countries, the natives of the countries are forced to work cultivating and growing marijuana. There are also so many drug wars that go on daily over marijuana and other drug trades. Well, fuck you too. Marijuana is proven healthier than cigarettes, and the only gods damned reason that it's illegal is because the fucking government can't make enough money off of it because there is too much homegrown distibution. And some people need the effects of marijuana to maintain sanity. It stabilizes moods that would otherwise turn volatile. So fuck you, no one is holding a gun to your damned head making YOU smoke it, so just shut the fuck up. No one gives a flying rat's ass as to whether you're pissed off that we smoke pot.

The people I really hate are the ones who say marijuana is bad and then drink 10 beers, puke all over the place and get in a fight. I just sit there with my bong and laugh at them... then when they see that I don't smell like puke and have no cuts or bruises, they ask me to teach them the way...
