Make sure you DO get half of everything and don't have any sympathy for him when he starts figuring out how bad he screwed up. Also, don't call your attorney about anything or you'll be giving all of what you win to your attorney. Let me tell you, nothing of what you discuss with your attorney is going to matter anyway... it all comes down to what your state will allow for the number of years you've been together. If you've been together for over 10 years you're intitled to alimony for life and half of all assests. If it's a five year to 10 year marriage you will get temporary alimony and maybe half of everything. If it's under a five year marriage you won't get squat... maybe temporary support if the judge feels sorry for you. So nothing you whine about matters and your attorney will be racking up the bill everytijme you open your mouth so keep it shut so that you end up with something. I wish I had the guts to stand up to my cheating husband. If you can get 1/2 of everything thats great. Unfortunatly in my case, I would get 1/2 of nothing and loose the house as well. I hope things turn out well for you.

You sound like such a money-grabbing low life. Have you ever thought that maybe you are somewhat to blame for your husband's infidelity? Maybe he could sense you only wanted him because of the financial security he presented.

No doubt you will rob the poor guy of all his hard earned money, but he will still be happy and you will still be alone.
Instead of scheming up ways to take what isnt yours, how about geting out and making your own life and your own money so that when you do leave him you can have the satisfaction of knowing that you dont need him ot his money to survive.
