I am passionate about finding a job related to computers, but my grandmother keeps giving me newspaper ads for warehouse work.
Warehouse work is long, boring, and annoying. I had one for two months. I stood in the back of a warehouse for ten hours a day, five days a week. Boxes would come down each of the fourteen conveyor belts, and I had to scan and place them on numbered pallets. Also, people would always speed around on giant electric pallet jacks and loudly honk. Annoying.
I would love to have a job computer related. I love programming, web design, and video game design. I spend most of my free time on the computer. I can't imagine doing anything else for 40 years.
It's getting more and more heartbreaking every time I receive a newspaper ad for more mindnumbing warehouse work.
Have any of you experienced this problem? How did you solve it?
