1. "reply" to responses of post, disappear into oblivion!

2. It would be nice to have the ability to change ones vote on a rage. I was going down the list of spam and clicking "bury" and accidentally buried a viable post...but there is no way to change my vote?

BTW, why is the "site news" icon a finger?

There will be a site update happening over the next few hours relating to commenting to rages.

The update will fix and re-add the captcha to commenting so all this god damn spam wont be a as much of a problem as it has been the last few weeks.

So if you try to post a comment, this would be the reason why.

Justrage Site updates

I have been doing site updates for about 20 hours now. There have been several fixes and changes which will hopefully make things more interesting.

Some of the changes are:

More spam protection for posting comments and rages. Captcha for anonymous posting is currently disabled while we test these new spam features out. If spam gets out of control we will need to add captcha again.

Posting rages has been updated. Rage submissions should not be lost any longer if you fail the captcha, and there are not better validations on the different fields. The downside is the fancy editor will be disabled for a while.

Voting and Karma have been updated, this should help out with rages getting pushed to the front page (if logged in users will vote rages up).

Several security fixes have been added.

Proformance tuning. The site didn't really need more, but it doesn't hurt.

Not added yet but next on my list is a site chat and messaging system. Users will be able to chat with one another or send private messages, join different chat rooms, etc. Anonymous users should be able to use it along with logged in users but we will be testing this out to see how it goes.

If I have the time and energy I have some fixes that I will hopefully get to for profiles and image uploading.

What else needs to be done?

I am working on the next round of changes and site updates for justrage and need to get feedback on what you guys want to see added, removed or updated.

This update will happen over the next few weeks as I really do not have any free time these days but do not want to leave justrage in a state that is almost finished.

I have recieved quite a bit of help over the last few months from several users and I wanted to thank all of you for your time and effort. You all know who you are so I won't go though the list, but this place would be double the suck without you guys and gals.

Please post your ideas and suggestions and I'll try to include them over the next few weeks to the next big update.

I will include my lists of changes ad plans for the site in the comments, please add your own if you want to have a chance of helping out.

Latest site update is now live. If the site looks broken make sure you do a refresh (or hard refresh with ctlr + F5, or clear your browser cache).

There are still several more updates that will be happening though the rest of the evening / night. These are updates that unfortunately require me to make to the live site but I don't expect there to be much downtime.

There are far too many updates and changes to list here. This update includes well over 150 hours of work if that gives you any idea of the number of changes that have occurred.

Key changes and updates are:
Tons of site optimization. Site should be loading pretty damn fast now after your first page load.
Site styles and appearance updated and finished.
Images added to rage categories.
Menu changes including lots of new menus added.
Fancy login / register drop down.
Lots of stupid crap removed and added.
You get the general idea.

Captcha is still not fixed so for the time being it will stay disabled. Once this is fixed the captcha should only display for anonymous comments and stories.

New fancy editor should be added in the next few hours. This will allow using HTML in comments / posts.

I need feedback on these changes. Please answer these questions to help out with any other site changes that will need to happen. Do not make a fucking new rage about site changes as I rarely read these or the comments in them. Keep all site questions and complaints in THIS POST.
