Arenaria raged 1 month ago —— For future reference:
1. "reply" to responses of post, disappear into oblivion!

2. It would be nice to have the ability to change ones vote on a rage. I was going down the list of spam and clicking "bury" and accidentally buried a viable post...but there is no way to change my vote?

BTW, why is the "site news" icon a finger?

Arenaria, I am glad you posted this because I have the same problem with that "reply" function actually posting the reply so it can be seen.

As for the finger . . . .well, it sort of speaks for it's self. Ya know?

It probably also relates to the way Decay feels about complaints about the site. But who can say?

I too have been having the same problem. I also had a problem with posting a response on my own rant. First it only published half of what I wrote, then when I tried to post the second half, it would only publish the first sentence or so. I tried multiple times, with the same results. Ironically enough, what I was trying to publish, was a compliment to this site for being a platform that promotes and supports freedom of speech and self expression. Well, that coupled with some mad trash talking I was responding to.

My rant has completely disappeared from both the "newest rants" and the "rants" page, and this on a rant where two of the three comments that were not made by me were positive, and the third was an attempt at a reality check. You can still access it by looking at the "newest comments" section, but otherwise it's gone. I don't know if that has something to do with the fact that I commented on my own rant, or what, but it's gone.

I had the same problem. A rage I posted got severl thumbs up ratings. Then it just disappeared off the fucking page. And I was wondering if there might be some objectionable content, Then I saw that "All black people should be killed" post and realized some asshole moderator just dumped my post because they fucking felt like it.

The Site Admin should check the fucking site moderators!

I have noticed whole threads disappearing as well! They weren't particular racist or raunchy either, as to promte Doc deleting them either? There was on last week from a Step Mom with a problem 4 year old, that concerned me, and the whole thread disappeared. I replied earlier today to a thread from a spoiled college kid, it is gone as well. Oh wells, maybe it's me.......I can't seem to find the end of my own arm today!

I can assure you I have not deleted the rants that have been mentioned.

For whatever reason they may have been buried or it may be a minor glitch in the server.

If you can tell me the names of the rants in question I will be glad to see if I can help restore them.

@Dr. Zaius: The one Arenaria referred to as involving a spoiled college kid was titled "Stuck in hell 'till I finish my degree." I'm not sure what the other one was called.

Dr. I am sorry, I don't remember the name of the other thread. Most likely it was in Fickle Family? I think it has the word "Step" in the title? It was a step mom with a his, hers and ours situation. She was complaining about a 4 year old little girl with severe behavioral problems. Does that ring a bell to anyone?
