I go to church regularly.  Even when I don't feel like it.  Which, I admit, is often these days.

 

The reason I am less than enthusiastic about church has to do with all the bullshit I see and hear at church these days.

 

The worst example is how women are chastized for any extramarital sex issues, while the men get off (pun definitely intended).  If a man screws around, he gets a little private talking to in the pastor's office.  A little chat just between two guys.  Then he gets a dose of forgiveness and a free pass to "go and sin no more".  The women get a sort of trial in front of tribunal of three men, who ask detailed questions about her "lapse into sin".  Then she has to do go through a year long punishment period where she can't take the sacrement, and she's excluded from any church activities.  They might as well make her wear a scarlet letter.

 

What a fucked up double standard!

 

Second complaint I have is how they always ask for more and more money.  I know they have to keep the heat and lights on in the church and the pastor's residence.  I know they have a mortgage on the church property.  And I am aware that the church helps the poor. 

 

All of that is great and I know that's where my "tithe offering" money goes and its ok by me.   I wish they could just for once spit it out and admit it that GOD does not want the money - the church needs it to keep going.

 

 

So please, for the love of God, treat men and women equal and be honest about what our money offerings are for.   And no BULLSHIT!!!

    Same shit in every church my friend.     Be glad they don't make you fast one Sunday a month and give up the money you would have spent on food as an additional "fast offering".

    The best part of this bullshit with so many "Christian" religions is how all treat women like shit.     They always harp on that shit about Eve giving the apple to Adam.  Well I say FUCK THAT SHIT!   If Adam, being a MAN, was so much fucking better than poor female Eve, why didn't he tell her to fuck off back to the forest and get him some God approved fruit?   He ate that fucking apple because he wanted to number one, and because he knew he could blame it on Eve number two.  A coward, a liar, and a sneak.  Great performance for a first man on earth.  And really sets the tone for how men have treated women ever since.   My favorite piece of shit is how when a woman fucks around and has an affair, everyone blames her and calls her an evil home wrecker, a whore, a slut, a bitch, and every other name.  They say how she set out to seduce the man with all her clever wiles - the man who is supposed to be superior and smarter.   When a man seduces (or forces - see sexual harrasment and rape) a woman into having sex with him, everyone blames the woman, calling her an evil home wrecker, a whore, a slut, a bitch and every other name.   If a woman gets raped or her fucking boss comes on to her, people blame the woman.  If she wears anything short or tight or revealing - which are all the current styles - everyone says "Well she had it coming to her for dressing like a slut."  This judgement usually comes not only from fat bitches but also from women who were the same fucking outfits regularly.   If the woman always dressed professionally and modestly, everyone says "Well she had it coming to her for dressing so prim and modestly.  She should know that kind of outfit always goads a man into finding out whats underneath."   Thank you for posting this rage.  It was refreshing to see that some man (or are you a woman) realizes how fucking biased these church fuckers are against women.

    LOL stay away from the church as an organised religion for goodness sake. I've recently escaped their clutches. Do your research a little deeper and read the BIble for yourself, look at how the church was TRULY formed by constantine as a state religion and how pagan symbols such as 'VENUS AND CHILD" were used as objects of worship and then re-named "CHRISTIAN" all our "Christian" holidays were taken from pagan festivals and modified by constantine. He even changed the traditional sabbath day. The tithe is RUBBISH, it has no baring in the new testiment, all the money is for social justice and there is no call what-so-ever for a levite style priesthood where leaders lord it over the people. Don't let religious organisations fool you! Don't let them tell you you will be under a CURSE if you don't give them your money, they are using a scripture from duteronomy to manipulate you into parting with your hard earned dollars so they can live the life style of Copeland and others. The NT says Christ became a curse on our behalf, we aren't cursed. if you want to be a Christian it comes down to you FOLLOWING Christ, NOT a religious organisation that follows pagan customs. Look at everything the early church was/did in Acts and that is what is important to get back to. As for the men condeming the women's sins, that's because they CANNOT deal with their own sin. People who are full of it, generally point the finger. Next to nothing churches teach or tell you is even from the Bible.

      OH and BTW the whole Adam and Eve thing being used for the "lowly sinfilled women" RUBBISH, who did Adam blame for eating the fruit because he couldn't man up to something that was HIS CHOICE, it wasn't like Eve held a gun to his head and said "eat this or die", he chose to take it and eat it and what did he say "IT WAS THE WOMANS FAULT" ummm sound familiar??? That's not God's way, if he had've brought that it was Eve's fault, oh sinful women, women are sin bla bla, wouldn't he have thrown only EVE out of the garden? Plus, that kind of crap was broken on the cross. Right, and yes people love to preach and rant on and on about women submit to your husbands, well the edict to the male is even stricter "husbands lay down your life for your WIFE as Christ did for the church". But no, you won't catch the church preaching that. Wake up and stay away from organised religion. Don't let them quote OT things like "he who is planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish" WE are the house of the Lord and the temple, he abolished the synagoge as being the focus of all things - you will only encounter pain and suffering if you get involved with "organisations".

    You MUST be a Mormon. That tribunal thing gave it away.

    By the way, despite the bulk of "Christian" religions all attempting to supress women into a proper state of "submission" to male authority, the Mormons have managed to out-do them all. They actually tell women to stay home, not work and become baby factories. Best way to ensure women remain with domineering, cheating bastards is to get them to have five fucking kids before they are 30. If they ever grew balls enough to leave their master, no one else would want them with all those kids.

    My advice to Mormon women - Be fruitful and multiply, but start putting away an escape fund as soon as possible, because it says God bless the child who has her own. AMEN

    the most ironic thing about the churchs "Donation" bullshit is the vatican has a 10-15 billion dollar profit sitting in the bank tax free. they do NOT need donations and they do NOT need support .

    as for the sexist argument, it is nothing new. Christianity has always been a male sex favored religion, very conveniant that the church standards never change even though political correction is becoming more and more enforced.
