    I'm pretty indifferent about 9/11. Truth is we only care because the attackers were Muslims and the U.S. did all they silently could to make it possible.

    You are absolutely right about the fucking media circus. Not only did they play the ceremonies up to the max, but then the fuckers decided that five hours of commercial-free coverage was too much for their network budget - on a fucking SUNDAY morning, when almost no one is watching TV. They decided to cut the ceremony live broadcast off before the end of the name reading, the final bell tolling and the playing of Taps, and switch over to the football game in progress!!! Cocksuckers!!!

    So much for respecting the memory of the dead.

    The best memorial I saw was in Bryant Park. They set up 2783 folding chairs in an empty field in the middle of the park. The sight of so many empty chairs, each of which should have been occupied by a living human being, was a silently eloquent memorial, It was kind of eerie too, like all those people were expected to show up. All this without the media hype.

    By the way. I was so pissed and raged about the media bullshit, I thought my day would be ruined. Then I read your comment about the "coupon", and almost fell off my chair while laughing out lout. Thanks Soul Man.

    I'm still pissed too about 9/11, but am now even more pissed at out fucking media and the total circus they have turned it into.

    I saw some of the remembrances yesterday, and more than a few were maudlin to the point of being embarrassing, and instead of reflecting a national tragedy, instead reflected just how shallow and cheap some are in their attempts to make sure we get our anguish "just right" while the rest of the world watches.

    Considering that people die everyday of cancer and car accidents and no one cries for them, 9-11 blah If people die in chunks it's a tragedy huh If they die alone it's just another thing to talk about on the news because it's not an impact worth noticing. Would you rather die with 3000 other people to share it with and comfort each other or would you rather know that you are dying alone, tell me which is worse. The latter I imagine so I have more pity for them. It's not PC to not want to wave a flag at the mere mention of 9-11 so for that I can be judged but when it comes to human suffering, I don't and won't believe that more at once means it deserves more attention years later.

    I lost 6 family members in 9-11, including my twin sister. Sure, people die everyday, but this wasn't like a single murder, or a few deaths from natural causes, almost 3,000 people died, my uncle died while saving others' lives that day. Those numbers are a good way to remember it, but there were also several buildings around the Twin Towers, therefore more than 2 buildings collapsed. We still remember the people that died in Katrina, don't we? I'd also like to point out that true people of Islam will not turn to violence, especially for dumb reasons. That's not what Muslims do, that's what Christians do, remember the Crusades? So, any asshat that thinks it's alright to hate Muslims because of it needs to get on their knees and suck my dick. Also, I appreciate that many people are upset about it, but if you didn't lose someone, or you weren't even in New York, shut up. It's not your fucking battle anymore. And as for killing Osama, pics or GTFO. And even if he is dead, I'm sure they have 60 generations of Al Queda already lined up.

    Just checked to see if anyone else left comments on my post and read yours. I am sorry to hear of your losses. No one can replace a human being.

    As for blaming Muslims, the sad fact is that the fanatical terrorists in the planes - they were Muslims. That is why many people blame Muslims for the tragic events of 9/11/2001. And let's keep in mind that Osama Bin Laden, along with other Muslim extremists and Al Queda, cheered the attacks. That didn't do a hell of a lot to make Muslims look good. If these terroists had been IRA, or Klu Klux Klan, or Neo Nazis, people would still be outraged over the attacks.

    I do not hate Muslims. After growing up in New York City and living in New Jersey, I have come to know and admire many Muslims. These people would never have had anything to do with terrorism and all those who I know well have said how reprehesible the attackers were and how bad it made Muslims everywhere look. I reassured these friends that I would never hold them or any other decent Muslim responsible for any actions committed by Muslim fanatics.

    I am sorry if my post offended you. I also had family members working in (and under - in the subway) the Twin Towers. Thankfully, all of them got out before the collapses.

    Today, we live in a world where terrorism is taken for granted as just another hazard of life. Kids born around 9/11/2001 will never know a world where you can just walk into a government (or other) building, or get on a plane, without passing major scanning checks. Sad to think how future generations will be affected negatively by the actions of a few disgruntled maniacs. Had they put the time, thought and effort they expended on these attacks on helping to provide better health care, education, housing and nutrition for the many people in the Muslim world who lack these necessities, they could have made a monument to the principals of right action and charity the Koran extolls, instead of branding all Muslims as terrorists.

    PS - By the way. I wouldn't worry about the Klu Klux Klan planning any similar attacks. You can only do a limited amount of damage flying a crop-duster into a sky scraper. KP

    If you think Muslims planned 9/11 you are fucking retarded. Sorry, but planes don't bring down steel buildings at the speed of gravity. In the history of steel building construction these THREE buildings are the only ones to collapse due to structure fire. WTC 7 fell at like 5:30 pm that night, lol. Google WTC 7 you fucking morons and learn a little something. No plane hit the pentagon either. Architects and Engineers for 9/11 truth will show you what is up. Someday it will be common knowledge that people within our government demolished the WTC buildings to start the perpetual war we have had for the last 10 years. When it is common knowledge, I will be the guy saying "I FUCKING TOLD YOU SO YOU FUCKING IDIOTS!". So go watch your american idol and keep your head in the sand you fucking retards.

    2 planes, 3 towers explanation for dummies - WTC 1 and 2 were hit around 9 a.m., one plane each. You still with me? Just after 10 a.m. the towers both collapsed. After 5 p.m. WTC 7 fell at the speed of gravity having not been hit by a plane. There were audible explosions before the collapse and it looked just like a controlled demolition. WTC buildings 3,4,5 and 6 were still standing even though they were closer to buildings 1 and 2, and took far more damage than WTC 7. Those buildings were fucking demolished, and Muslims didn't have access to the secure WTC buildings to plant them. So who did? NIST isn't going to tell you, that's for sure.
