No US mail for the winter?

FUBAR raged 8 months ago —— I just heard on the radio that because the US post office is in such dire straights being billions in debt that they may shut down for the winter. The US mother fucking post office shut down?? What the fuck??

First off how in the motherfucking hell does a shit hole manage to go into debt by billions of motherfucking dollars and not be fucking liquidated long before? Second how do the worthless fucking dipshits operating the place not get fired long before it goes into billions of dollars in debt and how are they paying all the fucks working their?

Motherfuckers if you shut down for the winter don't bother opening back up. This is not a seasonal fucking fruit stand you worthless cocksucking asswipes. Even third world fucking toilets have a fucking mail system. What a fucking joke our country is becoming.

How about updating the fucking site some fucking day? This captcha system is a piece of fucking shit by the way. Even though it has been proven that you can polish a turd it has not been proven that you can promote one. How the fuck are we supposed to help you if you are not helping us??

FUBAR you are right. The USPS is run by assholes. And what better business decision can any going concern make, than to shut down during their busiest time of the year?

If the stupid bastards in charge still don't know the Christmas holiday season is their biggest income of the year, they should all have to spend the week before Thanksgiving camping out in front of fucking Best Buy or Walmart, then be laid down in front of the store doors on Black Friday to be trampled by the crowds. If they get crushed to death, no loss, Maybe the Government can find some competent CEO's to run the USPS. And on the outside chance they survive, maybe they'll get the fucking clue that people not only send cards for Christmas (and other holidays too), but they ship gifts and shit too! Either way, I call this plan a win-win idea.

And as for not opening back up in the spring, I say great! These fuckers have had God knows how many chances to fix the fucking Postal System. Each time they keep fucking it up. Finally I figured out that it must be some kind of fucking requirement that only brain-dead mutant cock-cobblers be hired for any kind of high level Government position.

I don't blame the regular Postal employees for the mistakes made at the top, but a lot of them need to make some attitude adjustments too.

Anyway, I seriously doubt anything can save the USPS at this point, unless our fucking Government decides to bail them out again. I can just see it now, $5.00 for a fucking stamp!!!

First of all you monkey fucked shit loaf if your going to critique at least use basic acceptable grammar you lazy pig fucking inbred hillbilly specimen. Did you read the post or were you so jacked up on pig shit fumes 10 day old hillbilly horse piss that you were seeing quadruple? The post specifically pointed out that they were billions of dollars in debt so yes I have a fucking clue as to how much it must cost for those dumb motherfucking incompetent brain transplant failures to operate that pile of steaming elephant shit. For them to be so far in debt they have been fucking up royally long before email did anything to hurt them. The moronic fuck sticks should not be starting employees with no motherfucking experience at over eighteen dollars an hour either.

Your whole argument is so fucking asinine it is near unbelievable. The Feds and States still mail all of their legal shit, the fucking DMV still mails all of its shit. Since email has made US mail near extinct in your opinion I have seen no reduction in the pounds of useless fucking shit mail I receive every motherfucking week and 99.9% of all legal correspondence is still sent via US mail. Based upon your fucked up pig shit fume fueled logic all book stores should be closing because electronic books have put them out of business. Traditional book publishing has easily seen far more damage due to electronic print than the pitiful fucking postal service and I have not seen fucking Barnes and Noble’s vaporizing everywhere.

The problem is that those operating the USPS have no fucking clue as to what they are doing nor do they apparently give a fucking shit. The stupid incompetent motherfuckers running our government obviously have just constantly handed out fucking billions of dollars to the USPS blindly and without demanding a fucking immediate turn-around of their fucked up practices and piss poor operation. Lastly if your grammar and composition is any indication of what a useless fucking shit hump you are hire a resume service before your job hunt and save yourself a decade of job hunting.

What I do not understand is, why is the US postal service an independent agency, expected to make a profit? It should be another government service that is subsidized and ran by the government. The US military does not make a profit, the school systems do not make a profit, the court systems do not make a profit. They can increase the god damn national debt to rebuild other countries...they bailed out fucking Chrysler, ...BUT...they can't save the postal system? WTF?

You know what I want to see? At tax time I want to see a godamn itemized list..a fucking questionnaire of all the possible places my tax dollars could go...and LET ME CHOOSE! I will put check marks next to every place I approve my money to go too! THEN everything would be run properly....they would be kissing ass to get us to put our little old check mark next to their name! This pisses me off to NO end, this post office thing.

The government could save a shitload of money, time and resources to help keep the USPS going, and add a few jobs to the economy if they would do the following . . . . .

1. Make people on welfare come and get "their" checks from their local post office. Instead of sending out all the welfare checks once a month, they should stagger the printing and delivery by processing and sending the checks every business day, in alphabetic order, starting with names that begin with A, then B, and so on. The Government could then hire people to sit in the post office lobbies to hand out the checks. Preferrably someone on welfare could get the job. But since they don't know how to work, the Feds might just have to hire US Citizens whose jobs have been sent to China or India. Oh and the angry crowds of welfare recipients who don't like waiting in line and get unruly could be controlled by the Feds hiring some ex cons to keep order. They are perfectly suited to this type of work, and no one else will hire them anyway.

2. Raise the cost of sending mail depending on far the item is going. A system of postal zones could be set up that reflects the current zip codes. A piece of mail going to a far away zone would have to add postage depending on how far away the letter was going. For example; if you live in New York and are sending a letter to New Jersey, it would cost less than if you were sending the letter to Hawaii or California, etc. Most other countries that have a postal system do this and no one complains. By the way, any complaints from this country are no problem, because the government never listens to any complaints anyway.

3. The USPS should start using drive-thru windows for people to pick up certified mail, get stamps, etc. Same deal for packages that they could get handed to them through a side door, just like when McDonald's tells you to please pull over and wait while they fuck up your order, then come out and hand it to you.

4. The USPS needs to take lessons from some of the other postal systems in the world. Sweeden, Singapore, and Japan are years ahead of us.

5. Using current technology to provide certified electronic encrypted transmissions to postal account holders instead of legging it via the mail carrier would bring things into the 21st century.

KPissed - Who put all these great ideas in a letter to my Congressional Representatives and The Post Master General. To date, I have not heard anything from them and I can't understand why not. I mean, I put the letters in the mail and . . . .

I don't get my mail but every 3-5 days already. They shut down Saturday service, what's new. Already I get mail so late I can't possibly make some payments if I had waited on it. They should just make it an email service and hook everyone up with computers with private emails that can't be spammed because they track them all and make it a federal offense to spam them. Would be easier to have big brother tactics in place too and cheaper in the long run than paying for all that paper processing that we are all just throwing into landfills as it is now.

I stopped using the damn USPS over 3 years ago - fuckers costs me a few grand in a lost contract ,that magically showed up 6 fucking months too late! Yeah, you can mail a letter for less than 50 cents.... but you also get what you pay for. I say shut em all down - it'll change the way everything works; but damn, don't a bunch of crap need to be changed already.... gotta start somewhere. Shit, as it is, our county alone is paying 9 rural postmasters a salary of more than $64K a year to man tiny little buildings from 8-2, 5 days a week - that's over a half-million for 9 tiny post offices, 3 of them are less than 5 miles apart and serve populations of less than 100 people each..... where's the common sense in that? Talk about a leaky faucet,this bastard of a service is flooding the basement with debt we can't pay.
